Well Drilling

The operation of our company, in terms of wells, encompasses the areas of drilling, servicing, certifying and abandoning.  We rarely use a dowser to determine exactly where to drill, and we comply with all codes to ensure proper distances away from septic, electric, and gas lines.  With access to neighboring well logs of the proposed location, we are better able to determine how deep to drill in order to locate the best materials that provide water.

There are several steps to a well: first, is the drilling, then, casing installation, and next, is developing.  After the well is drilled, it is necessary to "hook-up" or connect the well to the house.  Therefore we excavate below the frost line to the pitless adapter and attach a poly water line. In addition, underground electrical wires follow the poly until their termination on the pressure tank and pressure switch respectively.  Finally, a pump is installed with drop pipe and wire down the casing in order to bring the water from the aquifer to the well.
